5/9/2009 - They Say Hicks is one Bad Motherf… Too short to be a truly “weekend” ride, but it included the most painful paved mile I can remember (13%-ish for a solid mile up Hicks). The ride back was relaxing times after that. Now that I’ve done it, I don’t look forward to repeating it, but might include it anyway in a McKean/Calero route in the future.
